MPA 30th Anniversary Roadshow at IMM
AAV joined MPA’s 30th anniversary public roadshow at IMM, sharing student-built maritime robotics with members of the public.
AAV took part in the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore’s 30th anniversary roadshow at IMM. The event brought Maritime Singapore closer to the public, with AAV contributing a student perspective on robotics, autonomy and maritime technology.
At the booth, the team shared how autonomous vehicles support future maritime operations. Visitors learned how student teams approach engineering through prototypes, field testing, sensors, vehicles and mission tasks.
For AAV, the roadshow was a chance to speak beyond a university audience. It placed the team inside Singapore’s wider maritime story and helped the public see how young engineers are preparing for a more autonomous maritime future.
