Nanyang Business School Visits AAV

AAV welcomed students from Nanyang Business School to the lab for a sharing session on autonomous maritime systems. The visit gave non-engineering students a closer look at how a student robotics team builds, tests and presents real vehicles.

The session also showed how AAV operates beyond engineering. A team building autonomous systems still needs business development, sponsorship, media, web, operations and project management. For visitors from a business school, the lab visit connected robotics with the wider work needed to fund, communicate and sustain a technical team.

This event reinforced AAV’s cross-disciplinary identity. It showed visitors that maritime autonomy is not only a hardware or software problem. It is also a team, operations and ecosystem problem.
