AAV at ROSCon 2025
AAV attended ROSCon 2025 to learn from the global ROS community and bring practical software lessons back into its autonomy stack.

ROSCon brings together developers, maintainers, researchers and companies working with the Robot Operating System. For AAV, the conference mattered because ROS sits close to the team’s own software stack.
AAV reached out to Open Robotics and received two conference passes. Members attended sessions and workshops on ROS 2, simulation, deployment workflows and tools relevant to real robot development. The team also studied industry tools and platforms linked to Ubuntu, OpenCV, Gazebo, PX4 and Foxglove.
The visit helped AAV map software improvements for future vehicles. It also gave members direct contact with the wider robotics community, including startups, established robotics companies and local Singapore robotics firms.
